Day 2 – 2013 PROCELL UIM/APBA World Speed Kilos

Taree has provided the best weather today for the final day of the Speed Kilo Trials.

Today Warlord are planning to complete their task of achieving a World Record as they had an engine change last night and ready to go on the water today.  Dean Barry also completed his engine change and will be on the water today.

All boats from yesterday are back to better their times from yesterday, as their were some lower times that teams anticipated whom are back to see what Sunday will bring.

Troy Marland definately has lifted the bar in the Unlimited Displacement and set a World, National, State Unlimited Record of 153.794 mph (247.508kph) and will be back on the water this morning to see if he can better it.

Jamie Maloney is slightly still short of the Mono VP Record and is certainly going to try and push harder today to see how much more speed he can get out of it.

Drivers briefing is at 8.30am this morning and Kilos will be the first on the program from 9.00am and will continue during the morning and then conduct some Circuit Racing this afternoon.

Entry into the Pit Area today is only $10 for Adults with Children U/16 Free.  The top floor of the Taree Rowing Club which is perfect position overlooking the Pit Area has a Licensed Bar from 10.00am and Food Available.   Please come and support the sport and enjoy the day with the teams.
